Most London borough councils now require a Construction Management Plan for developments that could affect neighbours or the highway. My planning permission has a CMP condition attached. What happens next?

A CMP planning condition must be formally discharged before you can start on site: the plan is prepared, submitted to the council (usually with an application to discharge the condition), reviewed by planning and highways officers, and approved. CMP Construct prepares the CMP document, responds to officer comments, and revises the plan until the council is satisfied. Most straightforward CMPs are drafted within 7-10 working days.

Most London CMPs are required by a planning condition that must be discharged before work starts. The process runs: gather project information, draft the CMP (typically 7-10 working days for straightforward projects), submit to the council, respond to planning and highways officer comments, and secure approval.
